Urban Link Construction, Corp is a minority-owned general construction firm founded by Alex Jimenez and Brian Mirshafiee. We recognize that projects are best completed with a team that advocates collaboration, a proactive approach, and treating every individual with respect, honesty, and dignity.

We bring over 45 years of extensive experience building residential and commercial structures from foundation to roof ridge. Our esteemed team of professionals are dedicated to our culture and core values of Faith, Integrity, Respect, Results, and Loyalty.

Our Team

Alex Jimenez

CEO and co-founder of Urban Link Construction, Corp.

He was born and raised in North East Los Angeles and has witnessed first-hand the transition of old rundown buildings in down-town Los Angeles to new upscale high-rises and gentrifying housing trends in the surrounding suburbs. Alex entered the construction industry in 1988 driven by a passion for building structures just as this transition started taking place. He attended a four-year apprenticeship with Los Angeles Trade Tech and Local Union 108 and graduated top of his class as a Journeyman in 1993. Alex quickly excelled as a foreman working on numerous construction projects such as Kaiser Hospital, The Gas Company Tower, Northrop Grumman, and Union Pacific RailRoads where he gained valuable experience reading blueprints, estimating and project management. Utilizing the skills and experiences he acquired both in school and his professional career, he set out to fulfill a dream of starting a construction business. Alex has since become a licensed General “B” Contractor and has built and renovated hundreds of buildings throughout Southern California.

Brian Mirshafiee

Vice President and co-founder of Urban Link Construction, Corp.

He is responsible for all project management activities which include hiring personnel, negotiating contracts, controlling budgets, and collaborating with trade supervisors to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget. Brian credits his success at cultivating lasting working relationships with owners, architects, inspectors, engineers, and subcontractors to his diplomatic demeanor and organizational discipline.

At an early age, Brian was trained and taught construction fundamentals by his father for many years. He ultimately developed a passion for construction which motivated him to pursue his General “B” Contractors License at the age of 23. He studied construction management and Auto-Cad at Riverside College. Brian also holds active Building Inspector, EPA, CPR, and OSHA certifications. Today, he utilizes his extensive 15 years of hands on experience to oversee all phases of his construction projects. Brian has had the opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects including residential renovations, new custom homes, and restaurant renovations.

Outside of work, Brian is a dedicated family man. He spends his time with his wife, 3 children and enjoys entertaining them with adventurous outdoor activities.

Sandra Garcia

Office Manager at Urban Link Construction.

She brings over 10 years of extensive experience in office managing and administration. She excels at managing day-to-day business operations, monitors and optimizes office metrics, orchestrating and managing weekly staff meetings, and oversees accounting and long-term business development planning. Sandra is a dedicated and loyal team member at Urban Link Construction, her superior office support has resulted in making her an invaluable asset to the firm.

Behnam Mirshafiee

Southern California resident for over 40 years.

He considers himself a hard-working individual with a ‘can-do’ attitude that has sustained him in the ups and downs of the U.S. economy. He is diligent on requiring his workforce to practice with integrity and holding them accountable to deliver results.

Benham has over 30 years of construction experience in full scope project management which includes new building and renovation projects. He has a proven track record of success in achieving safety, meeting time schedules and budgets on a broad range of construction projects. He has a strong background in supervision of large and complex projects with in-depth knowledge of building practices and regulatory compliance issues. Benham is qualified to review and evaluate bid documents, estimated costs, chart projections and lead cross-functional project teams. He prides himself in working effectively with engineers, architects, client representation, building officials, contractors, building managers, inspectors, and other industry professionals.

Benham prides himself on raising three sons and a daughter with his wife of 35 years. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren.
